I miss nursing school, my lil
nursing family & I’m ready for classes to start back :0!
I’ll probably regret saying that in the fall but for now I miss it and I’m super stoked to start OB/L&D as well!
I have been obsessed with all things wedding lately this is the exact color (salmon/coral) that I plan to use. As well as the flowy style of dress for my bridesmaids.
Heading to DC in a little bit, well as soon as the better half gets up!
Super excited, it’s my 1st vacation since starting nursing school last August.
Had an interview for a summer job & it went pretty well! Basically he said all I had to do was pass the drug test and I’m in there.
Thank god I need this cause I can’t work real hours during the semester, thanks to nursing school.
I can finally see it! My final is on Wednesday then I have two more sim labs and I will be done with my first year of hell… I mean nursing school!!
I need an 81 on this final, I’m cramming & every time I feel any doubt I repeat Philippians 4:13 to myself.

5 minutes before running: I'm pumped! Let's do this!
While running: Can't breathe... Must keep going... Run to the rythm of my music... Don't die...
5 minutes after running: Everything's awesome! I love running! I could run for the rest of my life!
An hour after running: I. Am going. To die.
Today was my home health rotation and I visited cities in my county that I didn’t even know existed.
I’m pooped.
After today I can safely say I do not think home health will be for me.
Peds still has the #1 spot in my <3!
& whoever made that decision needs to be tarred and feathered.
Well not really but this has been the most hectic 8 weeks of my life now I’m finally on Spring Break!
The first half of the semester was Nur 112 by the grace of God I passed with a B, I still don’t know how I pulled it off, but at this point I would have taken a C. Nursing school is the only place were A students are happy to get by with a C.
We lost two people out the program due to the final exam and three the whole 8 weeks. We started with 20 people in August of last year now after not even two semester we are down to 9… yes NINE! Every time someone doesn’t make it or quits it’s like losing a piece of family. My fellow night class students are like a special little part of my life and they can understand the pressure we are under & the pains we endure.
Well, by God I made. Now on to Nur 114 for the last 8 weeks. My mantra before was “if I can just make it to Spring Break”, now it’s going to be “If I can just make it summer too break!”

Me: Awww, now I know it's real!

Him: What are you doing?
Me: Perfecting myself
Him: Oh, can I take a sh*t while your in the shower?
Me: (blank stare)
Him: What?!! My sh*t doesn't stink, it just smells like baby poop!

Me: mmmmkay
Him: I think your making my skin oily!
Me: What?! Oily skin is not contagious!
Him: (stares at me accusingly) I'm using your face wash!

Me: You know you fart on me all night while your sleep!
Him: I don't fart
Me: Uh huh, it took me a year to convince you that you snore.
Him: Why you keep making up these lies!
Me: Truth hurts =)
Him: Record it next time.
